Initial Email
After you have become a member of the society and requested user credentials, you will receive an email similar to that on the right.
You will see a link labelled Link to account update. You will also see that the link is time limited. If you do not activate the link within the allotted time, the link will expire and you will have to reapply.
Once you have clicked on the link, you should be presented with a dialog similar to that on the left. Please Click here to proceed.
Choosing a Password
After clicking to proceed you should see a dialog similar to that on the right. You must choose and fill in a password that conforms to the following rules.
- It must have a minimum of 16 characters and maximum of 64
- and it must also have
- At least one uppercase character
- At least one lowercase character
- At least one digit
The easiest way to fulfil these conditions is to use a memorable phrase rather than try to create a word. Spaces and punctuation are acceptable.
After you have chosen a suitable password, click the blue submit button.
After you have chosen a suitable password and clicked submit, you should see the message on the left if everything has been accepted by the system.
You are now ready to login to mountdandenonghistory.org.au using your username which can find in the email that you received together with the password that you just created.
