Visit to a Jack Dodd cabin

On 26th July 2026, a group of members of the society visited a Jack Dodd cabin with members of the Sherbrooke Foothills Historical Society and

A log cabin built by Jack (John) Dodd Snr on the property in the late 1920s survives. It is a simple, single-roomed log cabin, rectangular in plan, with a brick and stone chimney and corrugated iron roof

The cabin is not in good condition and will be allowed to fall down
